Have you ever wanted to be part of giving back to others?
Have you wanted to participate in missions but didn’t know how to start?
Here is a great opportunity to do just that!
St. John’s Evangelical Church is partnering with Lifeline Christian Mission to host a community meal pack event open to the public, on October 23, 9AM to 11 AM.
Let our community come together for a great cause! In one hour you can help pack around 140 meals! Made of rice and beans, these meals are a staple for children in Third World countries where there are no programs to help those in need. These meals will be sent to the children of Haiti.
For a donation of $10 for an hour- you, your family, and your friends can come together to help those with the basic necessity of food. Would you like to be a part but not sure if you were able to pack meals? You can also sponsor someone to pack.
Time slots are from 9 AM to 10 AM and 10 AM to 11 AM or if you want to do more you can pack for both hours. Volunteers are also needed for set-up and tear-down.
Registration is open until October 15 by contacting St. John’s Evangelical Church, 211 E. Carrol St., Kenton, Ohio 43326. 419-673-7278
Donation is due when registering.
Donation covers cost of supplies and transportation.
Lunch will be provided after event.
